Utsugi (ウツギ, Utsugi?) is a minor character in Beastars.

Appearance
Utsugi is a medium height jackal with a slim build. Her fur is long and frizzy, her eyes are long with shiny black pupils, and she has long eyelashes. She wears makeup, a formal female suit consisting of a jacket over a blouse, a long skirt and high-heeled shoes.
Personality
She is a top-class carnivore and has no interest in eating meat. She hates receiving meat as a gift and being invited to restaurants in the Black Market. She considers carnivores eating there to be unsanitary, vulgar, meat-hungry degenerates. Like other top-class carnivores, Utsugi rejects her carnivorous nature to the point of pretending to be herbivore at secret parties, where she can leave her species, status, and heterosexuality.
