Chief Lion[]
At age 18 Ibuki, not finding his way in society, decided to join the Shishigumi, where he started as a clumsy member, but over time he gained respect among all the members and in the same way, he became gained the respect of the Chief. This could be the reason why he became the right-hand man and possible successor of the criminal group.

Louis[]
Louis invaded the Shishigumi Mansion, where after assassinating the Chief Lion, he was at the mercy of the other Shishigumi members. One of the lions present, Ibuki, saw this as an opportunity to give a new face to the group, having a leader who is a herbivore. Since then Ibuki became Louis's protector, friend and even develops a father/son relationship with Louis. They managed to improve the group's perspective and gain even more influence within the Black Market. After Legoshi asked Louis for help to face Riz, Louis saw that he had to leave that criminal life. It was not the way to make society change, so he tried to leave the group. Ibuki took him away from the group to try to convince him to stay. Ibuki realized the only way to bid his boss farewell was death, being a Shishigumi lion. Before this, Ibuki requested Free keep a bullet to shoot him in case he tried to devour Louis.
