He asks Agata if he would be sad if he shoots the person behind the window. He points contemptuously at Legoshi's new appearance and asks if he could die without regrets showing that face, while internally he is surprised that of all the animals he has held at gunpoint, Legoshi is the first to have made that face. Destroying the entire window, Legoshi pounces on Melon and grabs him by the neck. Melon takes Legoshi off of him and reveals that his neck does not match his body, because he inherited from his mother a thick throat made for swallowing meat, and a husky voice made for intimidating animals, while from his father he inherited his antlers, his slender bodies, and his escaping abilities. Legoshi ensures that he will capture him today, while Melon still claims to hear the voices of his bullies when he was a child.

Oh My Big Daddy! (オー・マイ・ビッグ・ダディ!, Ō Mai Biggu Dadi!?) is Chapter 150 of the manga Beastars written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion of the Akita Shoten publishing house.[1]

Synopsis

As with every moment in which Melon takes a good view to a victim, he takes whatever weapon he has and gets ready to kill his victim. He observes their faces tightening up, then thinks that this animal knows what it's like to be loved and they are going to die with regrets, something that makes Melon want to kill them even more. Melon asks Agata if he has ever been hugged by anyone, and before he can answer, he asks if he has ever yearned for friendship. Agata is only disturbed by Legoshi's presence, who gestures to him to keep quiet on the other side. Melon claims to have never been hugged by anyone and to have never been friends with anyone either, so he doesn't understand. He asks Agata if he would be sad if he shoots the person behind the window. At the window, revealing his awareness of Legoshi's presence, Melon declares that just as she expected, underlings love to be part of the herd. Legoshi surprisingly touches the window and reveals himself, drawing Melon's attention, using mimic. Legoshi swears to take revenge on Melon for the injuries he causes him, so Melon smiles and points his gun at him.

Thanks to his herbivore instincts, Melon easily dodges all of Legoshi's claw attacks, in the same way that he dodged all the things that children threw at him when he was little, while receiving cruel taunts. Due to the fact that the lower a carnivore's grade is in elementary school, the more likely they are to be admonished by teachers for any conflict they have with herbivores, instilling in them that "the strong must be gentle with the weak". This causes the carnivores to accumulate a lot of stress, so they took it out by bullying Melon in secret, because of the convenience of him being neither a carnivore nor a herbivore, so no one would care if he is picked on.

In the present, Legoshi manages to dodge Melon's shots and he mockingly asks him if he really thinks he can capture him, claiming that Legoshi is underestimating him and asks him if he knows how old he was when he committed his first murder. Melon tells him that when felines want to kill themselves, they never try to jump off a building because their physical abilities are too advanced and when they land on the ground, they will just walk away with few bruises.

Back in the past, Melon is forced by a couple of carnivore children to stand at the end of the deck of the school, and later they incited him to jump. However, in a fit of fury, Melon threw them off the roof, experiencing freedom for the first time at the age of nine when he killed his classmates.

In the present, Melon stands at the end of the window and claims that if he had jumped, he might have experienced a more flying-to-the-ends-of-the-world kind of freedom. He sets out to try his luck, jumping while wondering if he will land on his feet or he will die on the ground. However, Legoshi lunges too and catches him in midair, declaring that today he will not let him run off. Falling on some bushes, Legoshi recovers and Melon laughs that the first animal who hugs him is a guy. Legoshi replies that he could not let him die and notifies him that he is caught. Melon affirms that Legoshi is awfully cool and composed for a quasi-hybrid, but Legoshi, remembering Haru's words, replies that it is okay because he will raise his future children with tons of love, so they will at least turn out better than he did.
