A Body Filled with Purity and Whimsy (純度を知るわがままボディ, Jundo wo shiru wagamama bodi?) is Chapter 113 of the manga Beastars written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion of the Akita Shoten publishing house.[1]
Synopsis[]
Seven is back after a day's work. When she is at the entrance of Beast Apartments, the manager of the building is arguing with a police officer. When they both notice Seven's presence, the officer introduces himself as Kona, a mountain gorilla in charge of the Algema District. He explains to Seven that she should be careful because of the rise of predations done under the influence of the Bloodbone Drug that is being sold to young carnivores, because they are told it's an energy drink for carnivores. Upon hearing this, Seven thinks that Legoshi would be an easy target. She notices that he isn't back from his job and worries about him, so he decides to talk to the officer about Legoshi's condition as a carnivore with a Predation Offense. Upon hearing that, Kona becomes even more infuriated, and the manager in a tired tone scolds Seven for having said that to the officer. Kona calls a patrol and informs of Legoshi's delay, describing that he may have been under the influence of the drug. Seven worries about how all this looks bad and pleads for Legoshi to come back. Sagwan asks if Legoshi did something bad, but she yells at him no.
Meanwhile, Legoshi is returning from work when he is cornered by several carnivores who exalt him to approve a new energy drink. They take him to an alley where they try to drug Legoshi with the smell of the drug. However, Legoshi is not affected by it because he had previously tasted the flesh and blood of a herbivore, so that drug is ineffective. The band of animals take out various knives and throws themselves in a fight against Legoshi.
