His Marble-Like Eyes are Blurred Like Frosted Glass (ビー玉の視界はやがて磨りガラスに, Bīdama no shikai wa yagate suri garasu ni?) is Chapter 111 of the manga Beastars written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion of the Akita Shoten publishing house.[1]

Synopsis[]

In a playground, some children pretend to be the Beastar and a villain. The mother of the boy pretending to be the Beastar calls him to come home, because the carnivores come out at sunsets. The child does not care as he is sure the Beastar will protect them. Meanwhile, Yahya was fighting in some towers against some leopards. After completing his mission he retired to his home where he is cared for by The 500 Cornered Rats. At that moment he receives a call from the superintendent general, who asks him to calm down a bit, because this time he was more physically affected. Yahya tells him that the blows don't really matter, and they are still a long way from perfect peace. The general tells him that the police are doing their best to control crime, and the call ends. At the police station, a subordinate of the general asks him if he was talking with the Beastar, and he confirms it. The subordinate warns him that there are rumors that the Beastar is actually dead and that everything is a myth that the police created. The general understands these rumors, because Yahya is different from the previous Beastars, as he does not show himself to the media and does not take part in politics.

Yahya at the top of a building reflects on his 350° view. He alludes that those 10° he does not have are the reason why crime in the city has not been eliminated. He blames Gosha, who was his partner and friend. When they were young, they both fought crime and Gosha was the one who made up for those 10 degrees that he needed. After Gosha left the Beastar road to dedicate himself to his family, Yahya gathered a deep hatred towards his friend for having abandoned him. Back to the present time, Yahya is in an alley where he finds some vandals beaten. They explain that they were beaten by an old Komodo dragon and his grandson who is a gray wolf. This draws Yahya's attention who automatically recognizes those people they described.

Gosha is outside sweeping the sidewalk while being greeted by some neighborhood children. When he returns to his apartment, he found Yahya on his balcony.
