Born to be Eaten (食べられる運命の男, Taberareru unmei no otoko?) is Chapter 105 of the manga Beastars written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion of the Akita Shoten publishing house.[1]
Synopsis[]
Gon announces to Louis that he was selected by the council of academies to be the next Beastar of the Cherryton Academy for the fact of having solved the case of Tem's murder. Louis, however, tells him to offer the title to Legoshi, who was really responsible for solving the case. Gon tells him that although it is true, he cannot be the one to obtain the title due to Legoshi's abandonment of the Academy and because society itself will not understand the actions that he took to eat Louis's leg. Gon, giving up, asks him to attend graduation as a representative of the graduate students. Louis accepts, only if he is presented as an honor student and not as the candidate for the Sublime Beastar.
After finishing the farewell ceremony for the graduates, Louis goes to the auditorium where Tem died, to tell him that now he can rest in peace. At that moment Juno appears to personally congratulate Louis on their graduation. They begin to talk about everything that has happened so far, about the delinquent stage of Louis, the abandonment of Legoshi, and Louis's prosthetic leg. Juno begins to think that when both are together, they show their true being, that which they cannot show to others. When they mediate words, Juno kisses Louis, and asks him to forget what happened. Louis tells him that he is aware of how emotional and strong wolves are, and he does not want her to end up the same as Legoshi, who is struggling to find his way. He does not want to see her become a misfit of society and leaves. However, the feelings are stronger, he asks himself if what he feels is the so-called romance among species. He excuses himself saying that it is fear for having felt Juno's canines.
