Living Condition: Raising a Stray Dog (居住条件：野良犬を拾うこと, Kyojū jōken: Nora inu wo hirou koto?) is Chapter 101 of the manga Beastars written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion of the Akita Shoten publishing house.[1]
Synopsis[]
Seven is awakened by the noises of her new neighbor. Seeing how late it is she decides to go out to the restroom and see that her neighbor's lights are off. At that moment Legoshi also leaves his room, and she formally introduces herself to Legoshi, but he does not return the word and apologizes internally for ignoring it. The noises Seven had heard were from the members of Room 701, who made an appearance to celebrate Legoshi's new home. Seven retracts her comment on how antisocial Legoshi is due to constant visits from his friends. The most characteristic visit of this was that of Aoba and Bill, who brought up to date everything that has happened in Cherryton Academy. Bill questions Legoshi about his sudden abandonment of the academy, telling him that although he was strange, he knows that carnivores need more social skills to be able to fit into society.
Legoshi asks himself if he should improve his socialization skills with herbivores, and when he sees his neighbor Seven, he tries, but then he remembered that he already tried meat from herbivores and that this justifies in a certain way his distance from them. Because of that time that he saved Seven from being eaten on the train, his wild instincts took over him, remembering the soft texture of her wool. Every night his thoughts reminded him of that night when he ate Louis's leg, and he begins to hit the floor waking Seven. Tired of that constant noise she decides to see what is going on with him. Legoshi catches her, dominated by his instincts, but stops himself and begins to ask her things to improve his social ability. She answers each of his questions and he wonders why she's being nice to him despite what happened. She tells him that she is happy that after so long a carnivore finally calls her by name and that made her happy.
