Dominance Through Contrast (コントラストで支配せよ, Kontorasuto de shihai seyo?) is Chapter 46 of the manga Beastars written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion of the Akita Shoten publishing house.[1]
Synopsis[]
The Meteor Festival is about to start and Dom is preparing Juno for her performance. The stage crew is flooded with work and Legoshi is relegated to moving boxes because the drama club does not want him to cause problems. Because they find themselves busy due Louis's absence, Juno suddenly arrives at the scene, dazzling everyone with her outfit and makeup. Juno makes the members of the club hold hands and gives them some words of encouragement, causing a rise in motivation. Legoshi finds out that Juno is Louis's substitute, although Juno declares that she will not dance as a substitute, reminding him that a new era for carnivores is about to begin. Legoshi wishes her luck at her presentation even though his conviction for her has not changed. He goes to be with Haru, remembering that he must confess to her. Haru is at her post, but finds her head in the clouds due to the large number of recent events. Haru realizes that Legoshi has fled not because of his love for her or because of his desire to eat her, but because she was afraid of discovering the little value she has as a living being. She understands that Legoshi is the only one in the world who sees value in her. Assuming responsibility for herself, Haru declares that she cannot be without him. Haru sees Legoshi having trouble finding her and approaches him, and they both take each other's hands. As Legoshi is about to confess, he is interrupted by Haru who wants to be the one to speak first. They are interrupted by the spotlight that falls on them as Juno is about to present Legoshi to the public.
